This section of the Journal web site is devoted to providing information about the work of the Rhetoric and New Testament Section of the Society of Biblical Literature. The Section is organized to present for discussion rhetorical analyses of early Christian literature. During the annual meetings of the Society one of the sessions is organized to allow presentation of papers; copies of these can be found by following the links on the left of your screen. The second session focuses on responses to monographs or special studies by scholars recognized for substantial contributions to the field. The Steering Committee is also committed to supporting the work of scholars interested in rhetorical analyses of the New Testament. The link labeled "Resources" will take the visitor to bibliographies, reviews, discussion lists web sites, and other materials such scholars and other interested persons might find useful. |
